Well, yes, they do know. They wish to personally benefit from the flaws of a fiat monetary system instead of watching someone else benefit.

Seems to me the BRIC countries are rushing things a little. I was thinking they’d be more patient in usurping America’s place on the world (economic) stage. With 10-15 years more they should be able to pull it off seamlessly.

All the tensions resulting from the current state of affairs is ominously similar to what happened in the years leading up to WW2. Should not be too much of a surprise if WW3 erupts as a result.
