Well, so much for THAT bright idea. When I repeated the phrase to Charles, he said said calmly, "The economy." I replied, "I don't see how we can short the economy!" He started "I was thinking of an old political slogan," and we chorused happily together, "It's the economy, stupid!" Hmmmm. Rail traffic is down 30% and a third of the boxcars have been put in storage. Air traffic is down 29%. Haaaa....still thinking. Ah, Gary, would that Mr. Ash were right!
