		<description>Thanks for Part I on Booth. On another matter I would like your opinion on the size of the US Navy. Your experience in Naval Operations may give light to recent articles that state the Navy could handle our sea affairs with eight fleets, instead of the thirteen we have. 

Having thirteen years of Air Force service,I was often amazed at the unneeded weaponry we accumulated that seemed unsuited to the task at hand, similar to the Iraq and Afghanistan operations. Eisenhowed warned of the military-industrial complex, but it seems untouched by current fiscal plans. Are we still driven by scare tactics and stuck with these &quot;sacred Cows?&quot; I would appreciate your comments.</description>
