Unfortunately, as a native "Westsylvnian" this is the only time I received the perspective of both sides to the battle. As the saying goes, "Those who can not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." (George Santayana) So here we are in the 21st Century, with a massive debt, unbridled immigration & an economy in shambles. Have our current leaders forgotten the lessons of the past? Shall we wait for General Washington to gather up the army of patriots to re-birth our nation, this great experiment to mankind? Ah the good old days and old fashion education. I'm an avid reader with a continued interest in the history of our country and its early leaders and yes, I recall seeing many of the signs saying "George Washington slept here".
